Questions

Plain answers to common questions.

Do you access my bank?

No. We never ask for, link to, or see bank accounts, cards or passwords. We only look at messages you choose to forward to us.

What if the answer is wrong?

It can happen. Our answers are an AI-assisted best read, not a guarantee. That is why every answer includes a safe way to double-check, like calling the company on a number you already trust. When we are unsure, we say so.

Does my parent need a smartphone or an app?

No app. If they can forward a text or an email, they can use IGNIS. [PLACEHOLDER: number and email address]

What do the three answers mean?

Likely scam: it has the usual signs. Do not respond.
Not sure — let's check: we are not sure, so do not click yet.
Looks safe: we found nothing wrong, but no check is perfect.

What does “needs human review” mean?

For harder messages, a person double-checks the automatic answer. [PLACEHOLDER: who reviews, when, and how fast]

Do you watch my parent’s phone or read all their messages?

No. We only see what they decide to send us.

What does the family see?

The family members you choose get an alert when a message looks risky, and a weekly briefing. [PLACEHOLDER: exactly what is shared, and how the parent agrees; business decision pending]

What happens to my messages and screenshots?

See our data retention and privacy pages. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm retention period before launch]

Will you ever call my parent?

No. We never make outbound calls. We will never ask for passwords, PINs or Social Security numbers. If “we” ever do, it is a scam.

How fast is the answer?

Usually within minutes. Messages that need a closer look may take longer, and we will say so. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm response-time target]

Will you get money back if my parent is scammed?

We cannot recover money, and we do not offer insurance or reimbursement. We will point you to the right next steps, like calling the bank and reporting to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and the FBI at ic3.gov.

I think I already sent money or a code. What now?

Call your bank or card company right away, using the number on your card. Tell your family. You can report it at reportfraud.ftc.gov. This is not your fault. These scams fool smart, careful people.

How much does it cost, and can I cancel?

We have not set prices yet. When we do, they will be shown here before anyone is charged, and you will be able to cancel in a couple of clicks. Your parent will be able to text STOP to stop messages at any time.

Are you open for sign-up?

Not yet. You can join the waitlist. That does not charge you or create an account.
